foamInstallationTest shows 2 critical errors.


I am using Windows 10 Pro, WSL2, Ubuntu2004

Install flex, build-essential then recompile it.

Could you kindly share any links or commands for flex and build essentials, I am new to Linux environment.

If you want to install openFOAM I will suggest you to install deb package instead of compiling by your self.





Here is the steps


# Add the repository

curl https://dl.openfoam.com/add-debian-repo.sh | sudo bash



# Install preferred package. Eg,

sudo apt-get install openfoam2206-default


# Use the openfoam shell session. Eg,

openfoam2206
