Trying to learn openfoam v2206 for a university club. I followed this youtube tutorial ["How to install OpenFOAM and run a simulation in Windows 10 in 2020 - tutorial"].
It seems to run for a little bit but then it runs into an error seemingly when it needs to access the actual mesh files? or its properties? Im not sure. Ive looked into several past forum posts for similar permission errors but they dont seem to do the trick. Ive posted my ubuntu window below Edit: Im trying to run a tutorial file to make sure everything was installed correctly (evidently not) , but I havent tried implementing my own geometry > mesh into openfoam |

/usr/lib/ is not writable. use /home/ directory to run your simulation.
