Hello foamers. I would like to report an error i am facing the last days when i try to compile waves2foam. The most related thread to my problem is this one i believe:
Can't compile on OpenFOAM v-1912 where the libgfortranfile.so wasn't located in /usr/lib. After creating a soft link of this file to /usr/lib the error persists. There are some extra errors that appear around lines 600-700 in the log file compared to the log file of the above thread, and might be the cause of the problem but i have no clue how to solve them. Also i have checked that i have the dependencies installed (gls, gfortran, svn, git), so this shouldn't be the cause. |

I subsequently tried to reinstall the entire operating system (ubuntu 22.04 LTS) and tried again, but i got the exact same errors. I downgraded the ubuntu system to 20.04, installed the last compatible version of openfoam (v2106) and it looks like all the applications are compiled. All except postProcessWaves2Foam, which isn't in the /platforms /linux64GccDPInt32Opt /bin directory (where i guess it should be).
