Hello,

I have been trying to install OpenFoam-v1706 on Ubuntu 20.04. For doing that I have been following the instructions in (https://hystrath.github.io/installation/). I added "source $HOME/OpenFOAM-v1706/etc/bashrc" also to my bashrc file. After running "./Allwmake" in $WM_PROJECT_DIR folder, I face some errors that you can see in the attachment.
I would be very thankful if someone could tell me how I can solve this issue.
The thing is I tried to proceed with the installation. To do so, based on instructions I must go to $WM_PROJECT_USER_DIR. When I run "echo $WM_PROJECT_USER_DIR" it gives the path to this folder, but when I run "cd $WM_PROJECT_USER_DIR", it says no such file or directory!
Any comment that would solve my problem is highly appreciated

I am in the exact same situation, having the exact same issue. I have a completely fresh installation of Ubuntu 20.04 and just want to get dsmcFOAM+ working.

Hello, have you ever encountered a problem with the calculation of automatic stops when running dsmcfoam+? This question has been bothering me.

i had the same problem with $WM_PROJECT_DIR but then i just made clean installation of ubuntu 20.04, to fix this error you are getting in picture i jusr run this command below

Quote:
sudo apt-get install libscotch-dev scotch
and then i runned installation again

Quote:
./Allwmake -j 4
4 is number of cores you want your installation to use (according to ChatGPT)

after that i runned

Quote:
git clone https://github.com/hystrath/hyStrath.git --branch master --single-branch

cd hyStrath/

./install.sh 2 2>/dev/null
and i was able to install hyStrath-s solvers
