Hello Foamers,
I wish to simulate Viscoelastic fluid flow and have currently installed OpenFOAM v2012(ESI version). But it does not have the feature for Viscoelastic flow. Can I just copy-paste the necessary files(libraries for viscoelastic models and solvers) from extend version to the respective folder in my version and compile it? Will that work? Thanks! |

There is a toolbox available that can be used with OpenFOAM Foundation V6 and V7. The toolbox is called rheoTool.
https://github.com/fppimenta/rheoTool I find foam-extend a bit buggy, so you find it better to use the standard OF versions and the toolbox. Hope this helps. |
