I'm trying to install OpenFOAM-2.3.1 from source on Ubuntu 18.10 (I have installed the 7th version of OpenFOAM). When I try to launch ./Allwmake I get this error:
./Allwmake: 4: ./Allwmake: wmakeCheckPwd: not found Error: Current directory is not $WM_PROJECT_DIR The environment variables are inconsistent with the installation. Check the OpenFOAM entries in your dot-files and source them. please help me solve this problem, thank you very much!!! |

With these older versions you need to pay particular attention to the contents of the OpenFOAM etc/bashrc to ensure that directory location is correct (you probably need to manually edit the file). After making those changes and sourcing the etc/bashrc file, check that the value of "$WM_PROJECT_DIR" makes sense. Note that with such an old version of OpenFOAM, you are very likely to run into various compilation issues with newer compilers. |
