Hello,

I am trying to install the OpenFOAM-2.3.1 from source on the following platform: centos-release-8.2-2.2004.0.1.el8.x86_64. So far, I have succesfully installed from source the following OF versions: OpenFOAM-v2006, OpenFOAM-v1912, OpenFOAM-dev and foam-extend-4.1. The compilation of OpenFOAM-2.3.1 failed however. Any clue please?

The log file has been attached, many thanks!

This is a really old (and unmaintained) version of OpenFOAM. In the meantime there have been many, many advances in compilers, which means that C++ constructs that were used in OpenFOAM and presumed to be standards-conform were not entirely.
