I am running Debian 10. I have installed OpenFOAM from Debian's repository.
Looking at the version number 1812, it seems this is OpemFOAM.com version instead of OpenFOAM.org. After installation I am unable to configure OpenFOAM correctly since the $FOAM_RUN environment variable is empty and nothing matches with documentation I have read. After lots of effort I found that OpenFOAM might be installed at /usr/share/openfoam Code:
$ls /usr/share/openfoam/etc/ bashrc caseDicts cellModels codeTemplates config.csh config.sh controlDict cshrc mergeHistory README.md templates thermoData |
