Hello,


I am trying to install foam-extend-4.0 on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. I have followed these guidelines

Unfortunately, when compiling I did not save the log file, but attached is a screenshot of the error message I am getting. I seems the compilation is stuck at Stage 5 - when installing swak4Foam? - of the ThirdParty installation process.
I have tried to run icoFoam on a tutorial and it works, so I am not sure of what was correctly installed and what was not.



The same problem was reported in a previous thread, but was not solved: Problems on installing Foam-extend 4.0/ swak4Foam on ubuntu18.0.4



I would like to avoid problems in the future and know everything was at least installed correctly in the first place. I am new to OpenFoam and Ubuntu, so any help would be appreciated!
