I attempted installing OF5 on an install of F26 using the instructions for the Docker virtualisation. The pitz test case ran but parafoam did not install correctly and I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly where OF has been installed. I'm also not a fan of running cases through Docker.
Is there a long form of the install instructions for OF5 on Fedora that does not involve Docker? Otherwise I'll revert to OF4 running on bare metal. |

Quick answer: In principle, you should be able to follow the instructions given here: OpenFOAM 4.1 on Fedora 24 - but change "4-1" to "5-0" and "41" to "50".
The other possibility is to try and follow the instructions given here: https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/I...OAM-dev/Fedora - but adapt from "OpenFOAM-dev" to "OpenFOAM-5.x". Note: I have not written either one of those instructions and have not been able to test them myself.
