Problem Installing OpenFOAM V 2.3.1 in Ubuntu 17.04

Hi All,
I have installed the latest version of Ubuntu, Version 17.04 and then when I tried to install OpenFoam V 2.3.1 from OpenFoamwiki https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/I...M-2.3.1/Ubuntu, I got the following error; Code:
make: Target 'application' not remade because of errors. Thank you very much, |

Quick answer: I looks like you didn't follow the instructions to the letter. In the log file there are indications that the option "-j" was used with Allwmake, which does not work on OpenFOAM 2.3.1.
Please use the same exact commands as instructed on that wiki page. Beyond that, I have not tested those instructions on Ubuntu 17.04, therefore I don't know if they work well or not.
