I have had OF from OF.org now I installed OFplus from OF.com.
I followed the instructions at.
Also in my bashrc before installation I did:

alias OF='source /opt/openfoam4/etc/bashrc'
alias OFPlus='source /opt/OpenFOAM-v1706/etc/bashrc'

my original OF was already in /opt/ so since I thought OFPlus also will be installed there so I put the address for it as source /opt/OpenFOAM-v1706/etc/bashrc.

After OFPlus installation got finished I cannot find where it has been installed, it's not in opt folder. I am sure that it is installed correctly since after installation finished immediately I ran the test case mentioned on the webpage for the check, but now I cannot find where are the solvers, tutorials, and all other folders are located.

Solved, the issue was that it did not get installed in opt folder however, it was in home/openFOAM directory and I had to refer to this directory in my bashrc as
alias OFPlus='source /home/soes/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-v1706/etc/bashrc'
