Dear all:
I'm a new user of OpenFOAM. I used OpenFOAM-win-v1612+ and installed it seemingly right since there were no error alert occur in the installation process. After I first lauched the program, I found that I cannot use "mkdir" to create a new folder in the working dir of OpenFOAM. Also I cannot find the tutorial documents. What should I do? Uninstall the program and re-install it again? Where could I find the Tutorial documents?

Tutorials must be copied to workDir to be run, e.g.

cd workingDir

cp -ar $FOAM_TUTORIALS/incompressible/icoFoam/cavity/cavity .

cd cavity

blockMesh

icoFoam
In addition, please check the FAQ section on the instructions page: http://openfoam.com/download/install-binary-windows.php
