I want to install OpenFOAM 1.6 extend in ubuntu 12.04.

I follow the steps from this site: https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/I...u#Ubuntu_12.04

Here is what I do:

1. git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/openfoam-extend/OpenFOAM-1.6-ext
2. cd OpenFOAM-1.6-ext
3. git checkout 1.6.1 -b 16ext
4. In order to make sure that no link is broken I manually download all the necessarry third party packages (scotch-5.1.10b.tar.gz, ParMGridGen-1.0.tar.gz, ParMetis-3.1.1.tar.gz, metis-5.0pre2.tar.gz, mesquite-2.1.2.tar.gz , libccmio-2.6.1.tar.gz) and copy-paste them to the OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.6-ext/ThirdParty/rpmBuild/SOURCES directory.

5. Then I proceed with the instructions given at the official extend repository
https://sourceforge.net/p/openfoam-e....04_64-bit.txt


Please find attached the log.AllMake.stage1 and log.AllMake.stage3. The error is on stage three and is connected with the libscotch library.

I have already searched the forum but nothing sed light on this.

Can someone give me a clear hind on how I can install foam ext. 1.6 in ubuntu 12.04.

Its me again

Is there anyone who has at least successfully installed foam ext. 1.6 in ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64bit and be eager to pinpoint me the installation instructions. I have successfully installed OpenFOAM 2.3.0 and OpenFOAM ext. 3.1. The reason that I want to install foam ext. 1.6 is because I have a centrifugal compressor simulation project that I need to finish and I want to deploy the solvers from foam ext. 1.6.
