Greetings mohsen.boojari,

Check the source code page: http://www.openfoam.org/archive/2.0....oad/source.php - there you will see this text:

System Requirements

OpenFOAM is developed and tested on Linux, but should work with other POSIX systems. OpenFOAM-2.0.0 and ThirdParty-2.0.0 have been tested on the following Linux distributions:
  • Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid), 10.10 (maverick) and 11.04 (natty)
  • OpenSuSE 11.2, 11.3 and 11.4
From your description, it seems you only saw this page: http://www.openfoam.org/archive/2.0....oad/ubuntu.php - that page is for the easy installation instructions that use OpenFOAM pre-built binaries, which are packaged in the Debian format called "Deb".

Therefore, you can try building on Ubuntu 14.04, but you will have to do build it from source code. In addition, I have no idea if the GCC version in Ubuntu 14.04 will be able to compile OpenFOAM 2.0.0, as listed here: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...ibility_Matrix

Best regards,
Bruno
