install OF on different Linux version

hi every body,
i have a question about installing openfoam. according to official OpenFOAM website, each version is suitable for a special version of linux. for example OF V2.0.0 is compatible with Ubuntu 10.04LTS ! i want to know can i install this version on Ubuntu 14.04LTS or not??????? thank you all |
