Hi all,
I got the following error message when I launched ParaView on my cluster today. Anyone has idea on this? /home/jaq526/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-2.2.2/platforms/linux64Gcc45/paraview-3.12.0/lib/paraview-3.12/paraview: error while loading shared libraries: libQtWebKit.so.4: connot open share object file: No such file or directory My ParaView runs without problem before this. Any suggestion? Thanks. Yijiu |

Greetings Yijiu,
Either the Linux Distribution in your cluster was updated and/or something happened to the Qt4 installation that your ParaView build is looking for. You will probably have to ask your cluster administrator for more information on any changes that occurred. Although either way you will have to rebuild ParaView once again from source code. Best regards, Bruno

It's my first time trying to run Paraview in OpenFOAM and I got the same message? How can I fix it? What does rebuilding ParaView once again from source code mean and how do I do that? (sorry for the possibly stupid questions)

Quick answer: Please provide more details. It all depends on where you installed (Linux?) and how you installed OpenFOAM and ParaView. Namely, in what Operating System and which installation instructions did you follow.
