when created temporary 'cavity.OpenFOAM', libGL error is coming up: failed to load driver: nouveau.
It is my first time to run a OF tutorial and i am a layman in the Linux. system: CentOS 6.4 i686 OF: 2.2.0 I googled and found it may be helpful if i changed the NVIDIA driver. I am not sure about this. if I change the driver, will paraFOAM know that and run right? Any help will be appreciated. |

Greetings hwangpo,
If your machine does have an NVidia GPU, then yes, it is advisable that you install the official NVidia drivers. The library "libGL.so" installed with those drivers will then allow ParaView to properly connect to your graphics card and use 3D calculations and representations. And most of the times it's not necessary to rebuild ParaView for using the new drivers. Best regards, Bruno
