Hi dear Foamers,
I'm getting troubles trying to install "OpenFoam-2.3.0" on a "Redhat" system. I have followed instructions given here http://openfoam.org/download/source.php - download and unpack "OpenFoam" and "ThirdParty" ... until I run a "wmake all" on the directory that contains the unpacked "OpenFoam" and "ThirdParty". The problem is that compilation isn't done well and I have each time this error message : /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lfiniteVolume Note that "ThirdParty-2.3.0" compilation succeded, so the problem is with the compialation of "OpenFoam-2.3.0". Please any idea to fix this ? Thank you. Mehrez |

Hi,
there was an error during compilation of libfiniteVolume.so file (so compiler can't find this file when asked with -lfiniteVolume option). Look for the error in the compilation log-file. |

Thank you. I have fixed it (I compiled finiteVolume separately). Mehrez |
