Dear All,

I am trying to install OpenFOAM version 2.3.0 on SuSE linux 12.2.

I am following the steps given in the link below:

As I come to this step:

download and install Scotch, Paraview and OpenFOAM for 64 bit.

and execute the following command

sudo rpm -i http://www.openfoam.org/download/sus...0-1.x86_64.rpm
sudo rpm -i http://www.openfoam.org/download/sus...0-1.x86_64.rpm
sudo rpm -i http://www.openfoam.org/download/sus...0-1.x86_64.rpm

I get an error:

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 403
error: skipping http://www.openfoam.org/download/sus...0-1.x86_64.rpm - transfer failed

In the original command I changed the SuSE version from 12.3 to 12.2.

Kindly can somebody help me with this issue.

SuSE Versions

OpenFOAM and Paraview are currently available for version 12.3 of SuSE.

In other words: SuSE 12.2 is not supported as RPM packages.

You'll have to install from source code. You can try the instructions provided here: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...#openSUSE_12.3

I have installed OpenFOAM version 2.2.0 on SuSe 12.2 (RPM) package and it works.
