Hi,
we would like to install OpenFoam 1.6-ext but since two days it is not possible to reach the repository. Does anybody know the reason? Is there another way to download OF Extend? Best regards! Za-ck |

Hi all!
Do exist any mirror sources apart from sourceforge or any other means to download openfoam-1.6 extend ? I need a source-code version to be built then. Thanx in advance! Oleg |

Greetings Oleg and welcome to the forum!
Here is one: https://github.com/ogoe/OpenFOAM-1.6-ext But it's not complete... it only has the main branch. edit on 2013-03-08: found another mirror, this one seems to be complete: http://repo.or.cz/w/OpenFOAM-1.6-ext.git Best regards, Bruno

Thanks, Bruno, for a quick reply!
The fact that it is not complete scares me a little Is that worth the effort to install and compile or it is better to wait for the sourceforge version? Are there any differences in the installation process? Can I use this guide http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...1.6-ext/Ubuntu to install github version? Best regards, Oleg |

Only one of 1.6 -ext that I found was in the .iso to some conference in 2010. The version you updated will will certainly be more useful The version that I have found is uploaded here http://uloz.to/xoug8gG/openfoam-1-6-ext-zip [sorry for the server, but I am from czech rep. and I don't know, where to post it for your convenience ] |

I don't know. But I vaguely remember seeing sometime ago a service that searches on-line code for code that looks like your own in-house code.

For those curious about why the Extend variants have been off-line: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tml#post405401 post #4
edit: I've stick'ified this thread until the problem is solved.

Hi Ehsan,
You've got a link at post #7 and in the Github page (from post #4) you've got a button that says "ZIP", which gives this download link: https://github.com/ogoe/OpenFOAM-1.6.../sf/master.zip Best regards, Bruno
