Hello, I'm trying to install OpenFoam211 on my Ubuntu. I install it and paraFoam correctly, but at the end of installation process of OpenFoam appear this:
** To use OpenFOAM please add ** ** . /opt/openfoam201/etc/bashrc ** ** To your ~/.bashrc I run the command: gedit /.bashrc and in this file I add the line ". /opt/openfoam211/etc/bashrc" and save it. But when I try to use blockMesh or paraFoam appear that it doesn't find blockMesh (or paraFoam) command. Do you know why? Thanks. Best Regards. Mattia |

Have you sourced your bashrc after editing it? -- Simply open a new terminal and try any openfoam command (icoFoam or blockMesh etc.)
If it doesn't work: Is your OpenFOAM installed in the /opt directory or somewhere else? These are the two most common problems. |
