Hi all,
I intend to simulate FSI cases with the solid being a rubber-like material such as silicon and biological tissue-like objects. Anything that is capable of getting deformed to a significant extent, basically. In order to do so I reckon that something on the line of the original Peskin's Immersed boundary method would be perfect to start off with. I read somewhere that the immersed boundary method is/was being coded in OF. I've been searching for updates on the topic and I see that the issue has been raised a couple of times in the past months in this forum, but the previous threads seem to have died out pretty quickly. I am thus asking, before I start coding it myself, whether anyone is aware of any development. thanks everyone. |

Hi,
http://www.extend-project.de/ in the ROADMAP section you will find In development: block-matrix and block solver support immersed boundary method (Uni Zagreb) => Therefore I would contact Zeljko Tukovic or Hrvoje Jasak they are the developer of immersed boundary method did you have a look at 1.6-extend? Maybe code is included |

and thanks for the tip. 1.6-ext doesn't appear to have anything related to this right now...unless I am checking in the wrong place. |
