Hi all,

I have a large CFD domain (1.2km X 1.3km X 27m), and I'm using an STL file and SHM to define the bed (bathymetry). I've done this type of large-scale CFD simulation many times with IHFOAM, but I wanted to explore waves2Foam this time.

However, for some reason, one case worked, and the other with a small change in SHM to improve the mesh resolution didn't. setWaveField just stops/freezes in parallel, and it does nothing. I tried running it in parallel, and it didn't help. Please note that I tried two different versions of OpenFOAM (v2012 and v2206) and different decomposition approaches. I've attached the case file as well as the log file from setWaveField. Two SHM files, one working and one not working, are also attached. Link below is for the STL of the bed that needs to be copied into constant/triSurface

BTW, for installation for OpenFOAM-v2206, you might need to change the $(FOAM_APPBIN) to $(WAVES_APPBIN) in the /waveFoam/Make/files if you are installing it on a cluster.
