The problem regarding 3D scour using sedfoam

Hi,
I am using sedFoam to simulate three-dimensional scour around a pile under steady flow. However, I am not sure how to modify the inlet velocity if the inlet and inner field are mapped with a 1D sedimentation case in which no inlet velocity is specified. Thus, is it correct if I mapped the 1D case result into a 3D case and then change the inlet velocity of liquid only or both two phases? any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. |
