[cfMesh] improveMeshQuality does not move points on wall patches |

improveMeshQuality does not move points on wall patches

The attached image shows a mesh (created by blockMesh) on which I have applied improveMeshQuality.
On the left, a crinkle clip (y-normal) is shown. On the right, a crinkle slice (x-normal) is shown. Thus, we see on left the wall patch, whereas on the right, we see the internal mesh three cell layers into the mesh. If we only view the surface mesh, improveMeshQuality does not seem to have done anything, however, the internal mesh clearly shows that the mesh has been smoothed. How can I make improveMeshQuality also work on the surface? |
