Hi,
I'm trying to run a cavity case using the third order WENO scheme. This uses a WENOEXT library developed by Jan Gaertner and Tobias Martin . My OF versions are OF-6 and OF-7(I get the same error with both of them). I get the printstack and sigSevHandler IO errors while running the icoFoam solver as shown in the attached png. I'm running the cavity case provided in the tutorials by the developers of the library(attached). Needless to say to reproduce the error, the library will need to be downloaded and compiled first as per instructions in the readme file. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

for some reason the link to the library github repositories is not being attached.https://github.com/WENO-OF/WENOEXT.
I'll also write in plain text here:

Hello,

I hope you could fix your issue. If not please pull the latest version of WENO Ext from GitHub. There have been some substantial improvements concerning the speed of the scheme.

Also it has been now verified and published in SoftwareX: https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...52711020303241

The problem was to do with my hardware. I was using an Ubuntu 18.04 LTS version. Once the distro was updated, to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, the problem was resolved. The problem wasn't the Ubuntu version necessarily but more likely a corrupted kernel.
