Hello all,
1) does anyone tried to compile the waves2Foam solvers under OF1806? I created a copy from solvers1712_PLUS and gave the name solvers1806_PLUS After this, waves2foam seemed to compile successfully. I didn't test any case yet. Only then I realized that in this new OF version the dynamic mesh functionality in interDyMFoam has been merged into interFoam and the interDyMFoam tutorials moved into the interFoam tutorials directory. So my remaining questions are: 2) Will 'my' waveFoam solver work properly under OF1806 for static meshes? 3) Will a future waveFoam solver compiled under OF1806 work with native dynamic meshes? 4) If I want to work with dynamic meshes combined with waves2Foam, should I stick to OF1712? Or should I just jump to OF1806? Thank you very much in advance! |
