Dear All,
I am pretty new at the forum and it is the first time I ask a question. I just started my PhD which is about wave energy hydrodynamic simulation in extreme wave conditions. I will work extensively with OpenFoam and waves2Foam. As far I know, there are some incompatibilities with some OF versions and waves2Foam upgrades. I would be very grateful if you could give me some suggestions regarding which OpenFoam version is better starting to work with. |

Hello,
On the https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/waves2Foam page you'll see updates and compatability information at the bottom. I am also new to the forum, and decided to go with OF-v1712 because it compiles with waves2Foam. Along these same lines, I am curious if anyone would be willing to post a general case file for waveDyMFoam on OF-1712, for I have seen plenty of posts concerning waveDyMFoam compilation, but not a tutorial case where myself and others can build a knowledge base for running the coupled solver. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Thank you very much! I think that I will follow the same path!
