Hi Niels,
I see that you have updated the repository and add the OceanWave3D coupling. Is it possible to specify as an input to OceanWave3D a focused waves (i.e control over focused time and location)? Can we specify the wave components that we want (frequency, amplitude, phase, spreading, etc) for the OceanWave3D instead of using a randomly generated input? Kind regards, katakgoreng |

Hallo Katakgoreng,
I am glad to hear that you find the extension with OceanWave3D useful. I do not think that there is a direct way of enforcing a focused wave train, but since you have access to the code, you could always include an additional wave theory. I have to say that I am not very experienced with OceanWave3D myself, but my first few encounters have shown that it is a very powerful tool. Good luck, Niels

My programming skill is quite rusty, cracking the code would take quite some time, I guess. Many thanks Niels. |
