Hello, I've tried installing waves2foam on my other computer. I've successfully compiled the Allwmake file, I can run waveGaugesNProbes, setWaveParameters and setWaveField command.
However, when i try to run waveFoam command, an error stating that
"waveFoam: command not found"
I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and OpenFOAM 3.0.1.
Appreciate if anyone can help me. Thank you.

Good morning,

@Kenrich: waveFoam does not come natively with waves2Foam for OF3.0.1. For any 3-digit version number, you need to create your own version of waveFoam and porousWaveFoam.

Kind regards,

Niels

Hello Niels, thank you for your time and patience. I've downgraded my openfoam to version 3.0, the openfoam works correctly but there are issues while compiling. I have attached the error log for reference. Really appreciate if you can advice. Thanks.

Good evening,

@Kenric: You are missing dependencies for GSL or provide the wrong path.

Kind regards,

Niels

Thanks Niels,
Your solver comes with for of3.0.1 also. I edited the make files from EXE=$(FOAM_APPBIN)/waveFoam to EXE=$(FOAM_USER_APPBIN)/waveFoam and it works fine now. Thank you for your time and awesome toolbox.
