Dear Foamers ,
i had little question that i've been thinking a while , why there is not a LBM solver for openfoam ? BESTS AMIRHOSSEIN |

Quick answer: OpenFOAM uses the FVM formulation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finite_volume_method
LBM is pretty much an entirely different mathematical formulation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lattice_Boltzmann_methods I have no idea if it would be computationally efficient to implement LBM code using OpenFOAM's matrix management mechanisms.
