Hello,

I am trying to use the groovyBC boundary condition on my inlet with a velocity waveform text file. The waveform file contains an experimentally recorded velocity magnitude at every time point. Is there a way to do this with groovyBC or is there a better boundary condition to use to apply these velocity magnitude values normal to the inlet patch?

Thanks.

Is the velocity magnitude only a function of time U(t) or also of the place (on the inlet) U(t,x). The first one can be done with timelines in groovyBC ... the second one not easily

The velocity magnitude is only a function of time.

Then you're in luck. Have a look at the wobbler-case in Examples/groovyBC to see how to use timelines
