Dear forumers,
I'm simulating a 3D cylinder rotating in a cylinder zone filled with fluid. I just use fluid tut without solid model. So my problem is just a fluid zone with a wall of cylinder. The boundary condition is as follows: p tube wall:zeroGradient Top.bottom.boundary: fixedValue uniform 0 u tube wall:newMovingWallVelocity Top:fixedValue uniform 0 bottom.boundary: zeroGradient When I run the case in parallel(decompose 40 parts in z deriction), after 0.24s(0.001s time step) there are some errors, I list in the png file. I'm not if the problem is from the mesh or the boundary condition. |

fine, maybe the parallel running is the reason

When I try to simulate the rotation of the cylinder based on fluid tutorial,the grid seems to stick to a wall. I'm not sure if the dynamicMesh method is wrong.
I list the x-y cut plane of the mesh deformation and the dynamicMeshDict as follows. |
