Hi there,
In solids4Foam, is there a method to give damping to the solid or form the damping matrix? I know in FEM, the Rayleigh damping can be used. As we know, the Rayleigh damping matrix is a linear combination of mass matrix and stiffness matrix. I notice that in the unsNonLinGeoTotalLagSolid model, a mass-proportional damping is given. But I don't know how to add a stiffness-proportional damping because it seems hard to extract stiffness matrix. Do you have some methods to apply damping to the solid model?Or is there any way to form a stiffness-proportional damping matrix? Thank you! |
