Hello to everyone,
I am fairly new to OpenFoam and I would like to solve the problem described bellow. The case I want to solve appear to be similar to the punch tutorial in solids4Foam (although I cannot run it via Allrun) I have the following problem (in attachment): Contact between two rectangular prisms with static load: A static load of 2MPa is applied to the top face of the first prism. The remainder of it is set to solidContact. Underneath the first prism is another one. Both solids are made of the same material. The top face is set to solidContact, the walls to solidTractionFree and the bottom to fixedDisplacement (0 0 0). When I try to run it gives me unrealistic values in both stress and strain and I do not see the mistake. What am I doing wrong? Best Regards! p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; line-height: 115%; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; } |
