Dear all:
I have some question on RANS model of buoyant solver. I have looked this solver carefully, but I can't fine how this solver construct k and epsilon equation. As I know, in simpleFoam, k and epsilon equation only include production term by shear stress P, but in buoyant flow, k and epsilon equation also should include production term by buoyant G. But I can't find these buoyant term in k and epsilon equation. dk/dt=.......+P+G-epsilon; de/dt=.......+e/k(C1*P+C2*G-C3*e). Am I right ? Who can give me some explanation ? thanks! |

I check again, I think indeed k and epsilon equation doesn't include buoyant term for buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam.

None of the turbulence models include any modifications for buoyancy.
