This is not a severe bug, but I thought I'd point it out:
When using the official OpenFoam 1.7 Ubuntu release (installed via apt-get): When running any of the tutorial "Allrun" scripts (such as the one present in .../chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam/multiRegionHeater) , you must change the first line of the script from "#!/bin/sh" to "#!/bin/bash" in order to run it in Ubuntu (at least for Ubuntu 10.04) . This can be a minor nuisance for new users which are exploring the capabilities of the solver. Peace. |

Do you know what would need to be changed in the scripts to get them to work with /bin/sh on Ubuntu?

I have pushed some changes to the scripts into 1.7.x which should resolve the issues you have with POSIX sh compatibility.
