git problem with http repository

Hello all,

i got into trouble with git. I have to use the http-repository, because
the git-port is blocked in my company.
Using "git clone http://repo.or.cz/r/OpenFOAM-1.6.x.git" gives following error:

http_proxy variable is already set up. The proxy server is also defined in the git configfile. Wget works fine with the same settings.
I dont think that its a proxy problem. I think its ab "broken tree" problem.
