Hi all,
Sometimes I see renumberMesh increasing max aspect ratio, max skewness, max non - orthogonality. I find this weird because it is only supposed to reorder the nodes, not to move them. I must say that it happens when large aspect ratio (around 20) exists before renumbering. Did anyone experiment such a behavior ? Or must I pay more attention to my initial mesh ? Thanks, Fabien |

Might be a write truncation problem. Increase the write precision in your controlDict or even better set the writeFormat to binary.

Thanks Mattijs ! You were right. I turned back write precision to 6 and renumberMesh works well.
