I apply the inletOutletBoundary condition on the outlet, with a zero inlet velocity for the fluid, but still get influx through some faces. Should this be possible?
A picture of the (converged) flow field can be seen here: http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~md8hemra/images/outflow.png The Ub-velocity field on the influx faces is zero in the output file as they should, but the corresponding phib-field is not equal to zero. It appears that phib and Ub are not connected on the inflow faces. A test case can be downloaded from http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~md8hemra...stCase2.tar.gz The flow behavior appears after about 1.5 seconds. |
