I have been working with a custom solver for a few months now in 1.3, and recently decided to make the switch to 1.4 so that I can take advantage of the parallel processing capabilities on the cluster where I am doing my research.
I've recompiled the solver and set up the appropriate case files, but each time I try to run the solver via. openFoam 1.4, I get the following error: phaseFieldFoam: symbol lookup error: phaseFieldFoam: undefined symbol: _ZTIN4Foam19lduCoupledInterfaceE where phaseFieldFoam is the name of the solver. I would appreciate any input you might provide on the source of the error. Thank you. |

It looks like you haven't recompiled for version 1.4 everything your solver needs. Use wclean and wmake on all components of your solver including any custom libraries your solver needs.
