In the 9th July 2008 edition of the OF 1.5 User Guide, section 2.1.8.1, page U-40, it is stated that k should be given a homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition (i.e. type fixedValue, value 0, in OF-speak), in order to activate(?) the wall law b.c.
The turbFoam cavity tutorial case isn't set up like this and if I try to differ, OF slaps my fingers. It then insists that "fixedValue is the wrong k patchField type for wall-functions on patch Wall should be zeroGradient". |
