There seems some people have problems to use mergePatchPairs:

http://www.cfd-online.com/OpenFOAM_D.../126/8450.html (2nd post)

http://www.cfd-online.com/OpenFOAM_D...tml?1226191321

and my post:

I guess a lot of people really can use mergePatchPairs in OF1.5, otherwise there would have been more fuzz about it... Did anyone explore this problem, or have and clues?

Regars,

Yes, this is broken in the 1.5 release and cannot be fixed. You will need 1.5-dev where all topological changes work properly.

Same problem here. Tried openfoam git from git://repo.or.cz/OpenFOAM-1.5.x.git (2008-12-31) but same problem there. What do you refer to when saying "You will need 1.5-dev", is that another repository? Where can I get it?

Maybe this link. But I'm also confused about its relation to 1.5.x.

To perfomr a clean installation of 1.5-dev do I just need these two files from the link given by lin?

18. prosinac 2009 13:46 34032067 OpenFOAM-1.5-dev.General_2009-12-11.tgz
13. prosinac 2008 15:33 130577679 ThirdParty.General_2008-12-11.tgz

I suppose I also need doxygen?

Thanks,
