There seems some people have problems to use mergePatchPairs:
http://www.cfd-online.com/OpenFOAM_D.../126/8450.html (2nd post) http://www.cfd-online.com/OpenFOAM_D...tml?1226191321 and my post: http://www.cfd-online.com/OpenFOAM_D...tml?1226035229 I guess a lot of people really can use mergePatchPairs in OF1.5, otherwise there would have been more fuzz about it... Did anyone explore this problem, or have and clues? Regars, Karl-Johan |

Yes, this is broken in the 1.5 release and cannot be fixed. You will need 1.5-dev where all topological changes work properly.

Same problem here. Tried openfoam git from git://repo.or.cz/OpenFOAM-1.5.x.git (2008-12-31) but same problem there. What do you refer to when saying "You will need 1.5-dev", is that another repository? Where can I get it?

Maybe this link. But I'm also confused about its relation to 1.5.x.
