Hey all, i have been running a case in dsmcFoam for flow over a cylinder, which is decomposed to run in parallel across 8 cores, and when reconstructed shows odd bands in the particle velocities, as shown. The edge of these bands lines up with the barrier between each decomposition region.
This does not show up on the volume fields (momentum shown here) for the same time slices, so i am unsure if it is a real effect or not.
Does anyone know why these bands may be occuring/ how to fix them?
