Hi, I am a new openFoam user. I've just installed the software using Ubuntu windows 10, and I'm trying to learn how to use it.
I have followed a tutorial on youtube to simulate a 2D airfoil. I've just noticed that the codes are written with default parameters, I tried to modify the velocity parameter written in subdirectory 0 (the "U" file). I modified it using visual studio by just replacing the velocity components by another components. After that, the code is not running and the following message shown to me:

--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
cannot open file

file: /home/omar/OpenFOAM/omar-v1906/run/tutorials/incompressible/simpleFoam/airFoil2D/0/U at line 0.

From function uncollatedFileOperation::readStream()
in file global/fileOperations/uncollatedFileOperation/uncollatedFileOperation.C at line 561.

FOAM exiting

I'm just a very new user to the software and would appreciate any help!

Thanks
