Hi there,
I have a basic CGNS mesh which has mesh and solution data, but which appears to be missing the BC data... I'm able to read it in cgnsview and can see the various nodes so I believe its a valid file. I have some software which will generate meshes with the same nodes and structure for slightly perturbed geometries, so without having to study the entire spec, does anyone know the basics of how to add some boundary patches. Would it be relatively easy? I suspect it might be a case of navigating to the correct node in the file and adding a new node for the BCs with a list of the node or cells and the type of BC ... Hoping there is a relatively short answer to this. Perhaps someone even has a simple CGNS block mesh i could pull apart. Tia Cheers /Jonathan |
