Hi all,

I am doing a mesh for a bump on a surface. My initial geometry is a triangular bump on the surface. However when I mesh it I get an odd diagonal streak extending from the bottom corner.

Following this I smoothed the initial geometry using a b-spline. Meshing this gives a good mesh however the mesh is not generated along the curve. Running the simulations gives a segmentation fault since the nodes are along the curve but the edges connecting the nodes are outside the geometry.

I have tried increasing the number of nodes along the curved regions however this results in the edges intersecting with the corner edges, giving errors with building the mesh.

Thank you,
RK
