hi ,

i am trying to learn gmsh. I have a 3d channel hsapes like a river. on the surfaces i need a srtuctured boundarly layer. how can i biuld it in gmsh. I would prefer to make it somehow automatised and not have to choose the cell numerb along each edge.

I tried the mesh->define->size fields. but probably i did something wring.

please help

If you know how to edit the .geo files. Then create a parameter/variable like ''nx = 100;'' and use it using transfinite curve command.

Transfinite Curve {1} = nx using Progression 1.0;

I hope it helps.
