Hi, guys!
I am working in a project related to short-fibers composites. I have exported the geometry of the composite from another software called "Digimate". So, I opened the file, merged the instances, however, is not generating the mesh in the matrix, in the outside. I must confess that I am not very experienced with the abaqus and that is why I am asking for your help. Does anyone have a clue about what is happening? The software says that maybe I should use Virtual topology, but I do not know what it wrong, in the first place. I know that the geometry is a bit complex, but the fibers are not intersecting each other, for example. In this case, would be much more complex to generate the mesh. Please, I am a bit desperate, haha! Thank you in advance! P.S.: First the program was not generating anything, so I have created a new matrix, a little bigger than the previous one, so the fibers has no contact with matrix |
