Hello all,

i am trying to model a Heat exchanger. So it is a Finned tube Heat exchanger (shell and tube). It has approx. 1000 fins through which the tubes pass. There are 69 tubes in one pass and 69 in other pass.
The thickness of fins is 0.2 mm and spacing between fins is 0.8 mm. Due to which the mesh count is very high. Is there any way of reducing the mesh count ? or how should is modeled the Heat exchanger ?
i do not have the pressure drop vs flow rate data ? i need to validate the outlet temperature of hot fluid and cold fluid.
